Licence Agreement

1. The licence, and how long it lasts

Once you have paid, and for as long as you keep to this agreement, we grant you a 12-month, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the specific package you bought, for your own trading.

The term is 12 months and begins on the date of purchase. It is a fixed term. This agreement grants no lifetime, perpetual or indefinite right to use the software, and we do not sell one. The access period is displayed at checkout before you pay.

2. What you receive

One archive, released as soon as your payment clears. It contains the compiled expert advisor for the package you bought and a written setup guide carrying the configuration that package is licensed for.

There is no serial to enter and no certificate to store. Your licence is registered against the purchase reference shown on your confirmation page, and quoting that reference is how our support team identifies which build and which package you hold. Keep it somewhere you can find it.

3. What you may do

• Install and run the software on trading accounts that you own or control.
• Run it on your own machine or on a VPS you control, including keeping a copy on both.
• Receive any updates we release for your package during the term.
• Keep a private backup of the file you were given.

4. What you may not do

• share, publish, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or lend the software to anyone;
• upload it to a file host, a forum, a marketplace or a chat group, publicly or privately;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to defeat any licensing or protection mechanism in it;
• build a derivative product from it for distribution or resale;
• remove or alter any copyright, licensing or proprietary notice;
• run it as a managed-account service, a copy-trading feed or a signal service on behalf of other people.

Redistributing the software ends the licence immediately and without refund. That is not a threat we enjoy writing — it is simply the only sanction available to a small vendor whose entire product is one file.

5. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. EABotz keeps all right, title and interest in it, including every intellectual property right. Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of anything.

6. Updates

We may release updates or improvements during your term, and they are covered by this same agreement. We are not obliged to keep the software compatible with every future release of MetaTrader, or with every change a broker makes to its instruments and execution rules, though we will make reasonable efforts to.

7. What happens at the end of the term

At the end of the 12-month licence the licence expires and you must stop using the software and delete your copies. Nothing renews automatically and we will never charge you again without a new purchase. We will contact you before the term ends with the option of taking another one at whatever the price is then.

8. No warranty, and real risk

The software is provided “as is”. Automated trading carries a substantial risk of loss, and we guarantee no profit and no particular performance. Please read the Risk Disclosure and the Performance Disclaimer, both of which apply to this agreement in full.

9. Ending the licence

The licence ends automatically at the end of its term, and immediately if you breach this agreement — for example by redistributing the software. On termination you must stop using it and delete every copy. The sections on ownership, restrictions and liability survive.

10. Questions

Licensing questions go to [email protected]. If you want to do something with the software that this agreement does not obviously permit, ask us first — the answer is sometimes yes.
